Hey everyone,

I have a Gigabyte p35-DS3L and a Q6600. I was thinking of buying an OCZ Vendetta 2 (as I hear they're great for cooling). I have seen others with my motherboard and this cooler, so I'm not worried about my mobo and the fan. However, I'm not sure if it will fit in my case. Can someone tell me what's the exact height of the OCZ Vendetta 2 when measured on the motherboard? The height from my motherboard to the side of my case is around 168 mm, and I would like to know the exact measurement from someone's OCZ Vendetta 2 as measured from their mobo. Thanks :p.

Hi there,

I just mounted my Vendetta2 on an abit IP35Pro board and measured from PCB to the highest point of the cooler, which is the top of the heatpipes. Unfortunately, I measured 168-169mm, so it will most likely touch your case :(

Aw dang, I wonder if that'll be detrimental to anything. I'm hoping it wouldn't be a problem. I still am heavily inclined towards buying a V2 =O thanks for the help guys =P
