i read thru a few threads, and it seems like alot of people are having trouble with this ram.
i got 2GB(2x1GB) OCZ2F10662GK ram a year ago, and put it into a simple system that didnt have any bios options running it at 800mhz

but recently i put them on a MSI P55 NEO motherboard, and tried to get them running at PC28500/ 1066mhz, but no matter what options I select, the system always bsods with a memory error when I am running over 800mhz..

i tried various options, setting the timings manually and automatically to 5-5-5-15, setting the voltages at 2.1, 2.0, and the stock 1.8, but none work, and now I have had to turn it back to 800mhz to get a usable computer.

However, seeing as how I paid for a set of 1066 mhz ram, I would like to know what I should do in the bios to get the ram working

Thanks

Hello,

P55 is DDR3, can you verify that your board is DDR2?

Test your sticks one at a time for me at 1066Mhz with the timings at 5-5-5-18, 2T, tRFC 60 and 2.1V

Well, I tried to do that and it seemed more stable, however, it was still jerky at times
additionally, i tried placing them in different slots, with the same results. However, when I put in two sticks at the same time, and but in single channel formation, it was stable for a while, however, once i started playing modernwarfare 2, it decided to lock up after 10 minutes and bsod yet again. the problem went away after i set the settings back to 800mhz.

what do you suggest i do now

Do you by chance have another computer you could test your memory in? Either your motherboard is the problem or the SPD on the memory. If you can quickly test them in another board we would know for sure
