Tried the stick in a PC that has never been overclocked (To eliminate the idea that the northbridge may be the issue), and the computer will not complete memory detection with the stick installed. The timings used on the dead and its sister stick are both SPD (5/5/5/15). Voltage was 2.15 VDIMM, w/ active cooling over the DIMMs.
PS, hi Ryder.
