    Asus Maximus Extreme X38 DDR3

This is an easy board to clock the memory with, using memory level up the board will adjust it's settings by itself. These are the settings i ended up with after a few hours of playing with the settings and reading here and there.

If you feel a setting should be changed for better memory performance or stability please let me know and i will test it and edit this thread accordingly.

    Ram: 2GB OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Platinum Dual Channel (OCZ3P16002GK)
    Mainboard: Maximus Extreme DDR3
    Bios: 1001
    CPU: Core 2 Duo E6750
    Video Card: Galaxy 8800GT 512MB
    PSU: PCP&C Silencer 750

These bios are pretty conservative and should allow for a decent overclock.
Note that the board overvolts PLL voltage when using AUTO, it can go up to 1.86V PLL and could be too high, I recommend setting it manually. The board also overvolts memory, undervolts cpu by about .03-.05V altough there is no VDROOP with Loadline calibration enabled.

I do not know if it is a bug or meant to be like this but when you set voltages and settings when using AI Overclock tuner to manual, then set AUTO, all the settings will be hidden but still applied to whatever voltage or value you had manually set it to.

same settings as above were used except FSB = 450Mhz and lower multiplier because 3.6 on air wasn't too stable.

Use 1.42V FSB Termination only with 65nm cpu, use 1.32V for 45nm ones.

    OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 4x2GB = 8GB

These settings are good for customers who have an asus brand mainboard with X38/X48 chipset along with 2GB DDR3 1333Mhz modules, four of them were used for this test. Row refresh cycle value (tRFC) can be lowered depending on how many modules are used and density of the modules.
