Thread: im having trouble with my OCZ Platinum

  1. #1

Default im having trouble with my OCZ Platinum

adv address line test failed? I used Pc Check from the uk and noticed this error came up with the advanced memory extended diagnostic testing. With my vista my unreal toruanament 2004 closed unexpectedly more so on certain servers but even in xp I got some type of bluescreen that I dont remember the message. Im pretty sure its a memory issue because I have tested everything else and it works fine. I also used memtest86 but the difference from that was it wasnt testing as fully as pc check and therefore didnt come across any errors.

I found a review of my motherboard that im having the memory timing trouble with and here it is: http://hardwarelogic.com/news/132/AR...007-08-17.html
Here is the memory I have: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227139 Please can anyone assist me in fixing this issue in my gaming pc?

Hello and welcome to our forum support!

Make sure your ram voltage is 2,1v to run platinum sticks, on you bios press alt+F1 and set DDR2 overvoltage control to +0.2-0.3v, also check timings for 4.4.4.15 and Command Rate 2t, leave the rest on auto.
Please run memtest86+ ver 1.7 to check you ram after this changes.

Here you have some guide with same mobo and ram:

hdmuzzilloOCZ I used the fourth image of that tutorial and what you told me and I was able to get it setup properly so my ut2004 never closes by accident anymore
