    Mobo: various as always testing
BIOS: various as they never work correctly
CPU: usually AM3, but sometimes AM2+ and i7
RAM: I test so much its hard to say
Vid: 3870x2's...this is the one fixed variable
    PSU: PCPC 1200W/860W
    HDD: Vertex or Vertex EX
OS: All M$ from XP forward

Default tRD(performance Level) Calculator ver1 DDR2 ONLY Intel Chipsets

For those wondering how to set tRD or "performance level" here is a simple spread sheet that allows you to enter the more typical values you are likely to use.

(DDR2 at this time, DDR3 version will come soon)

To start while the calculator is fine tuned I have decided to limit this first release to DDR2, this means working CAS latencies of 3 4 5 and tRD 5 6 7 8 which is where most end users will be looking to set their systems.

FSB straps: if you have 320FSB set you are in strap 1, if you have 430FSB set you are in strap 2, 380FSB would be 1.25 etc.

Memory dividers: if your board quotes 6:5 or 4:3 just remove the : and replace it with / so 6/5 would be 1.2 etc

Answer True means the system should boot OK
Answer False means the system may not boot OK

Remember you have to complete both equations, tRD works by comparing the answer of both with the answer to equation 1 having to be larger than the answer to equation 2 for the tRD setting to allow a boot.

TRD = Read delay or performance level
    TCL = CAS latency

Here is the first beta of the calculator
Give it a try and post how it works for you. I am not an Excel specialist but this should give you are working calculator which should explain what will and will not work.
