Starting with 8GB 1333 Reaper.

Now I hit 1600MHZ with these modules, this is not guaranteed but some tweaking goes a long way.

Now this was NOT straight forward to do, first i had to make sure the CPU would run at 1600FSB, then lowering the CPU multiplier to 7 I tested the ram adjusting clock skew to dial it in at 1600MHZ, finally I changed the CPU multi back to 9 for the 3.6GHZ run.

Now...DRAM CLOCK SKEW is what you need to look at, no excuses that the ram you are testing will not do rated speeds etc if you not do tweak....you have to test and see what the board needs...it would not run 1400MHZ till I adjusted the skew as you see here
