Just a note of thanks for sharing your program. I note you are the author.

Can I encourage you to get a free account and post it at www.sourceforge.net if it is open source software?

That would give you a lot of control over the distribution of legit copies (with no known virus, etc.)

    Thanks.

I think its great we have end users willing to put time into getting SSD and OS's to play nice. As D111 said it may be worth you opening a sourceforge account if you are considering keeping development going.

I will also host it here on the forum if you wish so that we have control over distribution and bandwidth.

A note to all coders and tweakers, I have no issues with you developing your own scripts etc and bringing them to the ocz community. I have enlisted some help from one of the prominent coders off the Icrontic forums already who has issued the XP beta and is working on a Vista beta also...please don't think i will not allow other tweaker files on the forum because of this. I am a huge fan of community help and will do my best to extend help to anyone who is willing to share.

Please post comments on what you think.

Very nice, I just downloaded this and used it on my Vista laptop. Before using this for some reason the windows would lag when opening and closing, not real noticable, but I noticed my desktop didn't do it. I was starting to think it was my laptop video card not being good enough to handle Vista's Aero, but when I opened this program it said I still had a paging file even though I had turned it off so I unchecked it and rebooted and now everything seems much snappier.

Good program, makes it a lot easier for those who don't want to mess with registry stuff. I had already done most of the tweaks but still none the less it fixed an issue I was having. Thanks!

I tried it on Vista. It doesn't apply all the settings suggested in the other thread, and for some reason it actually turned on virtual memory even though I clicked the auto button. I didn't see any difference in performance for anything, though.

It's more convenience and easier by applying this tool, I don't need to do the tweaks one by one. Thank you : )

I didn't see that anywhere nor did it create one using the automatic mode. A ramdisk requires 3rd party software, does it not?
