Default Solid SSD in RAID 0 on ICH9R ...

Can anyone who has those Solid drives show results?
ICH9R would be great, if not, then ICH10R...
    Thanks!!!

I am also interested in the performance under ICH9R, coz I am using an Intel P45 mobo.
Is there any significant distinction between ich9r and ich10r in terms of their SDD/raid performance?

OK. SO just to confirm - even a single Solid series SSD is faster than a stnandard 7200 HDD, right? Like 2 times faster... having two in raid on ICH9R would be even better, 2 more times faster, looking at those reviews.... ?

only if I leave it active .. just turn it on to run scans then turn it back off ( this is with a single setup partition )

also with another partitin 1 for os and run everything off the other then I can leave it on ( this is with duel partition setup)

I know this is a bit off topic but still...

    supermediastore.com OCZ Solid 30 GB

A 30 GB Solid for $20!?!? Can this be for real?

If so, too bad they don't ship internationally but then again there are mail forwarding services.

I tried adding one to the cart and it says unavailable. Generally when something is priced that low it's to get rid of old stock. I can't see them getting more in.
