    The result is very close to Tony's result.

    222MB/s sustained reading speed is outstanding for a single drive.

    I hit 20k with 2xapex on 2405 and you hit 23k..i was on a slower AMD rig though but still...thats an awesome score for HDD.

    Just a quick reply as i'm heading to bed.

    Offset was 64K
    No tweaks at all, other than partition alignment
    Only Vista and the test applications installed so far (the drive only arrived today).

    So far the drive feels great in use, very snappy indeed.

    No Idea...im debating posting some numbers with mine here on M3N-HT deluxe 780a with Vista32 to give you some idea...issue is my hardware is older than the drives that shipped out.

    It should be close though...i will debate it a while

    Thanks for the benches. Two questions: 1. Is the V10 (beta) firmware what's shipping with the drives? and 2. Can end users upgrade the firmware themselves?

    Really really looking forward to buying 120gb.
